CVT fluid specification: Honda HCF-2 Verified

Level and compatibility: Use the specified fluid and the transmission-specific level-check procedure. Conventional ATF, belt-CVT fluid and manual gear oil are not interchangeable.
Service requirements: Honda directs the dealer to check and change this fluid. Use Honda HCF-2 without mixing other transmission fluids. The published change amount is 3.7 L (3.9 US qt), not dry capacity. The seven-step paddle-shift mode is still a CVT; its maintenance is not a conventional seven-speed automatic schedule.
