Timing belt and water-pump inspection
Track belt replacement by both age and mileage. This is an engine-specific workshop job, not a generic belt replacement procedure.
IntervalReplace every 110,000 mi or 7 years, whichever comes first; inspect the water pump. Replace at 60,000 mi if regularly driven above 110°F/43°C or below -20°F/-29°C.Verified
