- Cold valve clearance
- Cylinder head below 38 °C: intake 0.21–0.25 mm; exhaust 0.25–0.29 mm. Adjustment locknut 20 N·m; recheck after tightening. Corroborated
- Cover sealing and hardware
- Follow Honda’s complete head-cover removal, cylinder-position sequence and refitting procedure. Clean the gasket and mating grooves; inspect spark-plug seals, cover washers and rubber seals, replacing damaged or deteriorated pieces. Tighten cover bolts in the specified sequence and three stages, finishing at 12 N·m. Conditional replacement seals and any specified resealing supplies remain purchase gaps.
