Zerex DEX-COOL 50/50 Ready-to-Use Antifreeze/Coolant

DEX-COOL 50/50 premixed coolant · One US gallon contains 3.785 L of ready-to-use 50/50 coolant; do not add water to the premix. GM lists a 11.9-L total system capacity: three gallons provide 11.36 L, while four provide 15.14 L. A routine drain may require less because fluid remains in the system. Follow GM’s filling and bleeding procedure and verify the final concentration after flushing. Open the surge-tank cap only when the engine and cooling system are cold.

Cooling-system precautions
Never open a hot pressurized cooling system. A total-system capacity is not necessarily the amount that drains during a routine change; follow the engine-specific bleeding procedure.
