Zerex DEX-COOL 50/50 Ready-to-Use Antifreeze/Coolant

DEX-COOL 50/50 premixed coolant · One US gallon contains 3.785 L of ready-to-use 50/50 coolant; do not add water to the premix. GM lists a 9.5-L total system capacity: three gallons provide 11.36 L. A routine drain may require less because fluid remains in the system. Follow GM’s filling procedure and verify the final concentration after flushing. The owner manual calls for no extra coolant inhibitors or additives. Remove the radiator pressure cap only when the engine and radiator are cold.

Cooling-system precautions
Never open a hot pressurized cooling system. A total-system capacity is not necessarily the amount that drains during a routine change; follow the engine-specific bleeding procedure.
